what is the name of the part that holds the clutch in place. and how much to replace

IF you are refering to the clutch disc, I think you mean the pressure plate. AS far as replacement, you can get the entire kit for around 200.00. That would include the clutch, pressure plate, and throw out bearing.
As far as labor, the trans needs removed. Figure around 5 hours labor to R&R.
