My heater will blow hot air on the driver side but cool air on the passenger side.

You are looking for a vacuum leak. Check under the dash for broken, damaged or disconnected hoses. The vent doors the direct the air are actuated by vacuum. My guess is one isn't working due to a lack of vacuum. With the engine running, you may actually hear a hissing sound from the leak.
