Driver side heat does not change only blows vent air, passenger side temperature will adjust to temp setting

Under the dash there is a blend door motor that changes the temp like the passenger side. It can be verified with a scan tool, if you have one, or by a shop with the necessary tool.
It is not as simple as throwing parts at it and shooting from the hip from my end since I cannot see or touch the car. Thats why it needs to be verified by someone so the diag is correct.

Use a piece of hose or tubing to listen for the blend doors moving in the airbox under the dash. Look for cables that are loose or disconnected. Look for loose vacuum connections and listen for vacuum leaks. Look for loose or disconnected electrical connections.
