The theft light would not shut the truck off so we need to figure out the theft light first, but we may still have another issue.
Here is a guide that will get us started:

Assuming this did not work, we need to scan for codes using this guide as we most likely have an issue with the key or the theft system.

It is common for the control module to fail and that in theory could cause a stall but I have not seen that happen. Normally once the engine is running, the theft system is disabled until it shuts off again.
Which is why I suspect we have two issues, but we need to address the theft issue first.
So, once we know what codes are there, we will know what to address.
If there are no codes, then we just have an active theft system which can be disabled with a programmed key.
If the key is not disabling it, then you will need to try a new key and have it programmed using a scan tool that is capable. You will not be able to program a new key without a scan tool during an active theft event.
Please run through this info and let us know what you find.
Thanks
