A little more information will help. Does the engine crank when you turn it over, or just click? Clicking points towards a battery or starter problem. Any previous problems of any kind? Start with systems that have given you trouble before. Start with the basics, an engine needs fuel air compression and timed ignition to start. Air is easy, if the air filter and exhaust aren't obviously clogged the engine can breath. For spark pull one plug reconnect it to the plug wire and ground the plug somewhere (Parts stores sell tester with small clamp for a couple of bucks) Crank engine over and have someone watch for spark. DO NOT HOLD PLUG while cranking it hurts alot. To check fuel start closest to the engine and you should be able to find a line you can remove. With the line off switch the key from off to run (Not start). You should see a small stream of fuel come out. You may want to catch the stream in a plastic (not styrofoam) container. Flow will check that the pump and filter is ok and you can look at the fuel to see if there is any debris, or water in the fuel. Ok if you haven't found the right system yet all you have left to check is that the spark is properly timed and you have compression. I hope you don't make it that far.
