i can start it but it will keep cutting off and I put gas in it what should I do

Run a scan for any unresolved fault codes, check the fuel pressure and flow, check that it has spark and injector pulse when it stops, I feel that this will be a fuel related problem,

I can start it but when I get it started smoke comes is it my engine or do I need a new head gasket get back asap

What colour is the smoke? Black is excess fuel. Blue is oil white is a coolant problem.

Hi there,

You will need to get a head check done, this will tell you if there is exhaust gasses in the cooling system, this is a quick simple test a most mechanics can do while you wait, if it is a positive test you will have a head or head gasket problem, if negative, there will be a problem around the inlet manifold with coolant entering the engine, If it is running rough and loosing a lot of coolant and getting hot I would be thinking a head problem.
