The light came on a few days ago but the vehicle still runs. I'm assuming it's the alternator ($300 @ shop). Hoping it's the battery, I've hooked up the chargr for 2 hrs (12v/6amp) & the needle hasn't moved off 25%. Is the battery not taking the charge the problem or is it the $300 alternator job? Battery is a 'maxlife' thats 28 months old. (Southern climate).
