Electrical problem
1999 Ford Escort 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

My car has had chronic battery issues. I have replaced the battery and the cables that connect to the battery. I also checked all the spark plugs. When I turn the key nothings happens. This battery failure happens often. I do not drive my car everyday so in about 4 days time the batter has lost its charge again. Could their be an electrical issue from which somethings is draining my battery? What steps would I need to take to get it fixed?

First have charging system checked you may have an alternator problem. If that is O.K. Then a drain test needs to be done to identify the circuit that is draining battery.
Let me know how alt. Test comes out

Update: I had the alternator checked and a battery drain test, everything was normal.
I called a mechanic who will perform parasitic drain on the car.
