Hi,
Yesterday when I left my parking garage, I was driving up a hill and my car shut off suddenly. I still had power, but the car wouldn't "turn over". I thought this might be an alternator problem; however, since I still had full power I dismissed this idea.

By what I described in my first paragraph, can you tell me what you think might cause my car to shut down?

Please advise and contact me with questions or concerns. Thank you.

James

Have someone check your fuel pressure at the fuel rail. With the key on, it should read between 30 - 45 psi. If it is, then we go different route. If it is not between the range, replace your fuel pump.
