To replace the oil pan gasket you first have to raise and safely support vehicle to get underneath. Remove the flexible exhaust pipe and disconnect the oxygen sensor. Drain the oil from the pan and then install the drain plug back into the pan. Remove and discard the oil filter and then you can start removing the bolts that hold the pan on. Be sure to clean the oil pan mating surfaces and inside very well with metal surface cleaner as well as the mating surfaces on the engine itself.
