Speedometer, odometer died!

1995 Ford Contour, 153K miles, 4 cylinder engine. My odometer just stopped working, and the speedometer always is at 0mph, even when I am going much faster. Also, my emergency brake light is also always on, even when not engaged. Does this mean that the other gauges are unreliable as well? And how do I fix the car?

Speedometer-try checking the vehicle speed sensor

Parkbrake lite-try adjusting the switch
