There are several wires going to the fues box, but you don't have to touch the wiring. The fuses are the concern. I will tell you if the rear lights are working and the other front one is, then a fuse isn't the problem.
Let me explaine this. The bulb that you replaced has two elements in it. One is the driving light and the other is for the signal. Therefore, the signal element is getting power and the other isn't. The most common reason for this is a bad light socket. What you need to do is take a test light or a volt meter and check the wiring to the light socket to see if power is there. If it is, the inspect the socket for problems. That element may not be making contact due to wear, corrosion, or damage.
