1999 Ford Contour Quit running at a red light

Car turns over,won't start.Have fuel and spark.It would sputter and almost die,but keep running,but now it sputtered and died and won't start. it died.

Are you still getting spark and fuel? Have you checked to see if the timing belt has jumped or broken?

I actually found the resistance numbers for the sensors,and my camshaft sensor,which should be 400-900 ohms was open.it read 0 resistance,and as we know,bad camshaft sensor....car no go!So I replaced it for $16.00.Thanks for your time.
