I RECENTLY DID A TUNE UP ON MY BRONCO AND MY SON DECIDED TO HELP. HE TOOK ALL THE SPARK PLUGS OFF THE DISTRIBUTOR CAP AND NOW CAR WONT TURN OVER. IT CRANKS BUT DOESNT START. I HAVE THE BOOK THAT SAYS THE FIRING ORDER AND PLUG POSITION BUT IM HAVING DIFFICULTY FIND NUMBER ONE PLUG ON BLOCK AND CAP. BOOK SHOWS NUMBER ONE ON LEFT SIDE BOTTOM CLOSIEST TO RADIATOR BUT TEXT SAYS RIGHT SIDE BOTTOM IS NUMBER ONE POSITION. ANY HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED. THANKS

I would say to try the first one that the book says is numer one. Then you know, as the rotor pin spins it will hit the next terminal in the order. So try that as number one, then match up the plug wires from each cylinder with the next terminal on the cap in accordance with the firing order.
