Hi,
Honestly, if the vehicle runs well, I would fix it, but that's your call. Right now, there is a shortage of used and new vehicles, so replacing it will likely be more expensive than normal.
As far as the exhaust, where did it break? Often times you can cut bad parts out purchase just replacement parts to repair the exhaust. That would be much cheaper. If you can take a picture of the exhaust and where the problem is, I should be able to give you some ideas.
Also, we would need to start a different link for the brakes, but the same thing goes for them. I can help you replace them yourself.
Let me know.
Take care,
Joe
