a lot of smoke coming out of the exhaust?

Does the smoke look like steam, does it have a smell like a pungent sweet smell? If so, you it sounds like you have a blown head gasket, please go over these guides to check:

and if it is black/white smoke you could have a fuel injector sticking open.

When I turn the vehicle on, there is a lot of smoke coming out of the exhaust. The engine and oil change light came on. Both were reset but the exhaust still smokes. A month ago, the coolant reservoir was replaced. I don’t know if that is related to the problem.

When the coolant reservoir was replaced did the engine overheat?
