The engine suddenly stopped when I was driving home. I tried to stop but no chance. So, I checked everything like battery, ignition coil, fuel filter and they are still good. Lastly, I checked the timing belt and found out that some teeth were damaged. I bought one timing belt and replace it, but then the engine won't start.

Hello,

Can you tell me what it's doing when you try to start it?

Does it crank but not start? Or when you turn the key, nothing happens? or just clicks?

Have you tried to scan and see if there are any trouble codes?

One of the reasons an engine can stall while driving is having a faulty crank position sensor. If the crank sensor is unable to send correct data to the ECM, it will trigger an engine to shut down.

Please let me know a few more details of what you have been experiencing.

Thank you.
