After driving the truck for short distance then turning it off, it will not restart. It fires and turns over but it acts like it is not getting fuel or something. It started after sitting overnight or several nights. The garage checked the fuel pump, changed a fuse, and did diagnostics and they could not get it to quit when they had it.
Believing it was okay we drove it again and the same thing happened again leaving us stranded.

Hello,

When the engine is not running we need to check for spark because it sounds like a crankshaft angle sensor is going out.

Check out this guide near the bottom to show you how to check for spark.

Please let us know what you find. We are interested to see what it is.

Cheers, Ken
