So, I changed all my pulleys and belts, but the engine seems to still have a squeal in it. I recently noticed that the squealing stops or lessens whenever I turn the wheel to the right or the left. What do you think could be the problem? Also, on certain days my steering gets stiff, and on some days it’s loose, I tapped up my power steering fluid, even did a flush of the power steering fluid before, so idk. Please help me :(.

Hi,

It sounds like you have a loose belt. Does it feel tight? Also, how many belts are on the vehicle? One manual shows me one serpentine belt, and another shows me a total of three belts.

Next, if possible, record the sound and upload it for me to hear. If there is more than one belt, take a small amount of water and while you hear the noise, one belt at a time, pour a little water on them. Pay attention to which belt changes pitch when water is on it.

Let me know. Also, I attached a pic below. Let me know if that is the design you have.

Take care,

joe
