My water pump and thermostat were just replaced due to it leaking coolant, but the engine was not overheating at this time. After the water pump and thermostat were replaced, the car drove fine for about a week and then I started noticing the coolant temperature would creep up if I drove on the highway or if I drove just a little aggressively. I took the car back to the shop and they changed the coolant temperature sensor and bled the coolant system. The car is still overheating when I drive on the highway or when I give it a decent amount of throttle input. I’m not sure what could be causing the issue.
