Engine not running after replacing ignition coil

After installation of newly ignition coil. I started the engine by switching use of key. Battery is full charged. But the engine still not running.what's the problem here? Is fuel pump is defective? Any idea?

Hi,

The Proton isn't offered in the US, so I don't have specifics on it. However, I'll try to help. I think it is similar to the Aveo sold here.

Regardless, why was the coil being replaced? Was the engine running prior to the replacement? Also, have you checked the basics such as spark and fuel to the engine? Here is a link that explains the most common causes of a crank no start condition. Take a look through it and let me know if it helps.

Also, try this for me. See if the engine starts for a couple seconds if you use starting fluid. If it starts and stalls after a couple seconds, we then know it's a fuel related issue. If it doesn't even try to start, check for ignition spark.
