Hi,

I am having intermittent trouble starting my car. The engine cranks but does not kick in and start. The car has recently been UK MOT'd and has had a full service (the problem occurred before both).
The problem occurs more when the car is parked on an incline facing upwards. The 2 garages have both checked the car and cannot find anything mechanically wrong with it and could not duplicate the problem. Both garages have run diagnostics, and nothing is being shown or error stored in the car's computer. I only realized being on an incline causes the problem more often today.

Thanks

I forgot to mention that the car will eventually start and run with no issues at all and will then start with no problems for a couple of days after unless parked on an incline again.
I have attached a video of the engine attempting to start.
The car is also a clutch press start so I cannot feed it gas unless the engine is started.
Thanks!

Thanks for the video, it helps, to me it sounds like you have a weak fuel pump which can show up when the car is at an angle. To be sure when the engine is struggling to start take some starting fluid and spray it into the intake, if the engine starts right up, I would replace the fuel pump here is how. Also, here is a guide that may help:

Check out the images (below). Let us know how it goes.
