I sure will. I need to pick up some supplies so I will let you know what happens etc. Just a FYI here: the last code that was on there before I just erased it was C1229 the C1230 went away after the center speed sensor has been replaced. But as of now all ABS codes have been erased. Also, I was reading my scanner's manual I read in there where it said the following. "Permanent codes are a special type of confirmed code that only the vehicle can erase." I didn't know that. I thought that all scanners could erase codes.

Oh, oh okay. Well, here is the update: I went to the store and church etc. While driving along the ABS light came back on. Came home and put the scanner on it and both error codes came back C1230 and C1229. At first it was just the C1229 but now both have come back. Someone I know said it could be I just may need some new brake shoes all around. Since I haven't had them changed in 3 years etc. The thing that gets me still is when you hit the brakes it feels as though you have brakes. But it sure feels weird when you hit the brakes. Like something isn't correct etc.

Oh, just so you know. I think the repair shop just replaced the speed sensor in the differential. There is no way of me know as to I dropped my vehicle off and left it there and came back and they said they fixed it. I do not like doing that but when you have family members that do not like sitting around and waiting for their cars to get repaired and just want to drop it off and leave it. It's impossible to see if anything was repaired or not. Anyway, sorry I was doing a little venting, lol. But I have no idea if they changed any speed sensors in the front right or front left wheels in the van or not. And when you go to the parts store asking about parts, they only seem to sell speed sensors for the front left or the front right or the in the differential. I have yet seen one for the rear wheels (left or right) of my van that has drum brakes (Front has disc brakes). So, I must ask this silly question. Where are all the speeds sensors located at on a 2000 ford e-150 econ van located? If you don't mind me asking :-)

Yes, on this van there are three wheel speed sensors, one on each front wheel and one for the differential which is for the rear wheels.

Oh, oh okay, sure glad you know where they are located :-) Did you see my update post? In a nutshell both codes are back C1229 and C1290 is all. Do you think it may be due to the brake pads my need to be replaced? Just asking.

Thank you for letting me know where the speed sensors are located. I wouldn't have ever found out where they were with the scanner I have.
