It sat for about a year covered, went to try to mess with it last week sounds like it wanted to crank but didn't. I thought it was the fuel pump well replaced the fuel pump, fuel filter, it blew six starters in two days (no exaggeration), changed fuse box and all relays, and alternator, and brand-new battery. Now I tried to start it, it started up off me playing with gas but instantly shut off. Now it won't even start just positive battery cable smokes and burns, and I hear something sound like a torpedo or a ring when I try to start it.

Hi,

It sounds like another starter is failing. If the battery cable is burning/smoking, it may catch fire, so be careful. Is it possible for you to record the sound you are hearing when trying to start it and upload it for me to hear?

Let me know. Also, don't engage the starter for more than 5 seconds at a time. Then, allow it to cool for 10.

Take care,

Joe
