Hi,
I cleared DTCs including P0138 O2 sensor.
I saw there is a question asked about drive Cycle for the vehicle listed above so, this is question may have already been covered, but I wanted to ask anyway.
I hope I can complete this drive cycle quickly.
I have read about needing 1/2 to 3/4 full gas tank.
Can you help me, please?

Hi,

The drive cycle will vary, but half to three-quarters of a tank of fuel is listed. I attached the drive cycle information from my manual below. Take a look through it and let me know if it helps answer your question.

Take care,

Joe

Okay. I will drive in it.
I have a OBDII scanner with CAN.
I will have it connected to see my progress.
Can I erase just 1 DTC instead of erasing all?
Also, do dealerships have scanner equipment to simulate a drive cycle?

Hi,

No to the simulator. The vehicle needs to be run. Also, the codes will all be cleared unless your scan tool has an option for one at a time. However, I presently use a snap on Triton D8 and that isn't an option. I wish it was. LOL

Let me know how things turn out or if you have questions.

Take care,

Joe

Hi,

I completed all of the monitors tests
Except for the cat monitoring.
I am looking at the "Since DTCs Cleared"
And not the "This Driving Cycle"?
Look these pics and see what you think.
I see under step # 7 in drive cycle docs you provided, how to complete catalyst monitor.
I still have the P1000-FF CMDTCs
showing readiness not completed. See pic.
Do I clear these after I complete cat monitor test?
Thank you!

And I just drove the car and followed the drive cycle directions, and the cat monitor is still showing as INC. I guess I will just keep driving?

Hi,

The catalyst is always the last one. Keep driving. Hopefully, it won't take much longer.

Let me know when it completes and is IM ready.

Take care,

joe

I drove more miles and the cat monitor was finally completed.
I still have no CEL.
So, I parked my car and scheduled an inspection.
I do not want to drive until inspection, so I don't get another CEL! You have been awesome helping me out!
Thanks again!

Hi,

You are very welcome. And I agree, don't use it until after the inspection. LOL

Take care and feel free to come back in the future. Also, if anything changes, let me know.

Take care,

Joe
