When I get over 70 MPH, it goes crazy. The speedometer needle jumps all over the place rapidly, the dash lights up with ABS, Brake, Service Engine Soon, And Service 4x4. The worse part it, the front end gets real loose causing me to swerve and when I push on the gas it sputters and acts like it's going to shut off. And there's a strong smell of gasoline and burnt tire smell. I'm not kidding. It smells like I just did a burnout or something.

We only handle one problem per post. We will handle the speedometer problem and warning lights in this post because they are probably related. Please create new threads for the other problems. For the speedometer problem I would start by replacing the VSS sensor which is located in the transfer case. Here is the location so you can check it out. Check out the images (below). Please let us know what happens.
