Hi I have a 2002 Dodge Stratus. My heater/ac fan only works on "high". How do I tell if I need a blower motor, or a blower motor resister? Also.I have heard that this is a relatively easy part to fix myself. Any pointers? Thanks!

I have a 1999 Dodge Stratus that has the same problem. Just read an earlier post that says probably the switch is bad, common problem apparantly.

It does seem to be a common problem in dodges, ive never had a problem with my personal vehicle but I would assume its the switch, the contacts inside it could be broken or tarnished.

If it only works on high then you need to replace the resistor. It's either located by the blower motor or right behind the dash at the very top in the center just right below the windsheild
