2004 Dodge Stratus idles at 3000 RPM

This is one of those stupid things that are almost impossible to figure out. I pulled the idle air sensor to check if the screen was clogged and found a small plastic clip stuck in it preventing it from closing! I removed it, cleaned the sensor for general principles, reinstalled it, and solved the problem. This ended up being something that you had to just keep looking, because using the shop manual didn't find the problem
