My 2001 Dodge Stratus air conditioning is only working the first few minutes it runs and then just the fan blows. Someone told me it could be a coil in the compressor...is this so? Or is it more than likely an electrical problem/freon leak? I put a can of freon in it the other day and it still only worked for about half an hour.

1st step should be checking system pressure /and for leak
I would suspect low on 134A GAS
