when I pulled the plug wires from the plugs I noticed the boot was like four inches long. Do I have to remove much to get the plugs out or can I reach the plugs with a socket and extension and be able to pull them out without removing a lot of parts. Looked at it outside my girlfriends office for one of her coworkers.

Just stuff a spark plug socket down there with a rubber insert, or use a magnet to pull the plugs out. I prefer using a regular deep well socket and a magnet because I tend to flinch and break the old plug when it breaks loose. A magnet won't work then. You'll need a parts picker with the four metal fingers to pull the plug out then.

You can also try to pull the loose plug out by fishing a piece of vacuum hose down there and catching the terminal on top of the plug. That takes a while, but it works real nice for setting the new plug down there without dropping it in.
