i have an 94 dodge shadow that does not have reverse I started by it going in to a lower gear then reverse went out on it would it be the trany

I was going to ask if you tried to shift into reverse, manually, but too many safety issues.

Think positive, maybe the shift cable needs adjusting, I don't have the procedure for that.
