2007 Dodge Ram V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic
my truck is trying to stall and now I have black smoke coming out the exhaust can a bad ignition coil cause it to do that?

Black smoke usually indicates a rich mixture. I would start by checking fuel pump pressure to make sure the regulator is working properly. Also, while you check that, pay attention to pressure drop off. If it falls too fast, there may be a leaky injesctor.
