1999 Dodge Ram wont start

My truck started with no problems runs great other morning l started it it started then died so l turn the kee power is there but it clicks l put a boos on it after charging battery it turns over but wont start and evin with new battery wont turn over with out a boost code reader says nothing it ran great no warning ive checked wireing im lost on this can you help me thanks

Hi:
It sounds like the solenoid went bad on the starter. What you need to do is have a helper turn the key to the start position and check the smaller wire on the starter for power. There should be 12 volts in the start position.

If there is power, remove the starter and have it bench tested at a local parts store.

Turns out it was the starter ive allways had cheves and if somthing broke it was easy to find the problem with my 99 ram nothings easy love the truck but if somthing goes wrong its a guessing game code readers are not going to help l called a round dealer ships and garages nobody could help I checked wiring fuses went over every thing then l asked you thank you you were right my dodge is a running once again. Stuart.

Hi:
I'm glad it's up and running again. I had Dodge trucks all my life and have always had good luck with them. But I agree, they are getting harder and harder to fix. They all are anymore. Thank god for technology (LOL). I miss the days of points and condenser and a good old 4 barrell under the hood. If the car broke, there was only a couple things that could be causing the problem.
