I checked the fuel pressure at th rail and it would be about 50PSI when I turned the key on but drops almost immediately. If I crank the pressure show 50 PSI but again drops to 0 when I stop is this a fuel pump issue and is the fuel pump in the gas tank?

I usually try to splice into the fuel line at the fuel rail, using a neoprene or rubber fuel line, That way, I can cycle the key, build pressure, clamp the line I spliced in, instead of oem part, then turn everything off. If the pressure drop stops, I backtrack the line to the pump assembly, in the tank. If the pressure still drops with the clamp, I look for an injector leak.

I don't know if splicing in a test piece of fuel line to clamp, is applicable, with your system. I'd have to look at it. Be safe. Having that much pressure hit you between the eyes is no fun, btdt.
