I drove my truck home from work with it running fine. The next morning, it wouldn't start. I am getting fuel, I am getting good spark on 4 of the 8 cylinders. ( I only checked 4 ) I have tried starting fluid, nothing. Rotor points to number one on the cap with number one cylinder at TDC on compression stroke. Approx 80lbs compression on 1, 3, 5, and 7. Any ideas?

Even if your NOT getting fuel, with starting fluid and the plugs are actually firing(not fouled), it should at least try to start. I'd check the plugs. Please advise.

EXCELLENT! That did it. I changed the plugs and it fired right up. I never would have thought that. It showed no signs of lost power prior to this. It just happened overnight. Well, anyway, thanks for the help. I still have a small miss but I am going to change the rotor and cap and hopefully that wil take care of it. Thanks again!

Glad you got it.
I had a Ford F150, not too long ago, that wouldn't srart cold unless the owner unplugged the fuel pump relay. Warm, it would start all day long. He checked spark, injector pulse, injector bleed down, fuel pressure, everything but the air in the tires. Turned out to be a set of plugs.
Anything else, you know where to find us.
