1998 Dodge Ram truck will not start

1998 Dodge Ram V8 Four Wheel Drive Automatic

truck will not start I replaced the ignition switch still no power to the starter from the igtion swtch, the starter check out ok there is power to the starter from the battery I can jump the starter and the truck will start. What can be the problem?

Check to see if you get a refrence to the starter solenoid/relay.

If you get noting with key in crank position check the neutral safety switch and harness. If you get a refrense but no response from the solenoid/relay then it needs replacement.
