2002 Dodge Neon 2002 tranny

As long as you stick to the body style and engine size the tranny should be interchangable for diff years. The neon hasnt changed much in that department in some runs of the car. You can go to most autoparts stores and look in thier parts book for trannies and see if the part numbers match but I believe they were the same transmissions for a long run. If you get a used one make sure that it can be returned if it doesnt match. Some of the sensors might have different plug ends on them so you might need to remove the old sensors to put on the new transmission so dont get rid of the old one before checking. Remove the old one and compare it to the new one. Be carefulll they may be small looking but it will take two of you to pick it up. Hope this helps MORT
