My brother bought the car at a yard sale and it had 50,000 miles on it already. We have checked out some prices at 1 local repair shop and we were wondering if it was a good price: $750.

So I believe what you are asking for is a fair estimate for removing and replacing your vehicle's head gaskets, correct? If so, below is an estimate for the DOHC engines..the SOHC engines are about $50 cheaper to repair..
