I think I have to get the battery replaced. But I need to start it to get it to the dealership. In the manual it tells me to disconnect the battery cables to do a fast start. Why? How will it get the charge to start if the cables are disconnected?

Hi there,

You will be able to jump start with a set of surge protected jumper cables, don
t use conventional cables as you may do some electrical damage, of just remove the battery and bench charge it for an hr or so as that will give enough surface charge to start.
