My Magnum must be jumped in order to start it and once it is started it will run however once I turn it off that's all she wrote. I turn the key into the off position and immediately try to start my Magnum but nothing happens, it does not make a sound at all.

Start by testing the battery. Measure its voltage with an inexpensive digital voltmeter. It must be 12.6 volts. If it's close to 12.2 volts, it's good but discharged. If it's around 11 volts or less, it has a shorted cell and must be replaced.
