2000 Dodge Intrepid how long will it take to replace a heater core

If it is like most new dodges it averages about 8-10 hours for a good mechanic. If you have never done it it can take much longer. Most newer dodges reqire the entire dash to be removed to gain access to the heater core and ac evaporator. None of the aftermarket repair manuals cover replacement. You will need to get the factory service manual to know where all the fasteners are at. The extra cost of the factory manual will save you much aggrevation and will speed the job up. Good luck
