Hi,
I was wondering I have a 1996 Dodge Intrepid 3.3L with a 140,000Km. I have my check engine light is on and the code is telling me that my oxygen sensor bank 1 is faulty. So I have changed both of the sensors and ereased the code with my friends code reader and the light had gone out and when I started driving again the light had came back on.

Same code?
What number?
There are other causes I can go into, but there are different codes that mean different things. Because it says a particular component, does not mean that component is bad, just a referenced area.

Yea it is the same code. I re-checked to be sure just today and I used the Mac reader and it says "PO134 O2 circuit no activity detected B1 S1". So I really do not have a clue what that is I just assumed that it was my O2 sensor bank 1. If you can point me in any direction it would be a great help to me to get that annoying light to turn off.

This code may be from a faulty front sensor, a wiring problem such as the harness to the sensor or a problem with the PCM. You really need a scanner to diagnose this.

IF you used a "universal" O2 sensor, that may not work.
