2001 Dodge Intrepid wont start

This car is not getting fire hook up on a scanner said the crank shaft sensor so replace it and the car still wont start it gets fire every now and then but still wont sart put a cam button in still have the same problem so do you have a suggestion

What engine you have in it (engine size)
check timing belt
check /replace ASD relay
when cranking using scanner read data
do you have a sync between crank and cam
let me know
