1996 Dodge Intrepid 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

i have a 96 dodge intrepid and it wouldnt start one night like the batter was dead. I jumped it off and it ran for a few seconds and died. Kept doing it so I put a new altenator and batter on it. It will run for a few seconds and die still. I dont know where to start

There is an air pressure sensor, it is called a manifold absolute pressure sensor, or MAP sensor. It can fail, and have these symptoms. If you scan the engine for codes, it will show up. It has a vacuum hose connected to it. I hope it is just that. Starts runs a second and dies again.K
