went to use 4 low andit didnt work but then it got stuck and light says service 4 wheel drive

are you saying that it is stuck in 4 wheel drive? or what do you mean stuck. if it is stuck in 4 wheel drive take off the hubs and look for internal wearing, if so replace. also check the vacuum lines and seals.
