changed the thermostat and now it overheats what do i do?

Did the vehicle had overheating issue before you changed the thermostat?
If it did not have that issue and just started to overheat after the thermostat replacement, it is likely that the thermostat is defective and need to be replaced.

The thermostat should open at 195F for your vehicle.
