My speedo only starts to work at 35 to 40 MPH. I used to do not work between 20 and 25 MPH, but has changed in the last week. I have been told that it is either the spedometer in the dash and I have also been told it coudl be the speed sensor in the tranny. I have unhooked the sensor on the tranny and it won't shift, so I guess that way won't tell me it its bad or not.

If the ABS light and the parking brake lamp stay lit after ignition, it is more than likely the rear speed sensor in your rear differential.

I have now replace the sensor. My speedo is working for the most part. It now works most of the time. It kind of jumps around until you hit 10 MPH. My anti-locks are now working but they seem kind of wierd. Work really good until I hit about 10 MPH, then they get soft. Once I am down to about 1 to 2 MPH they grab hard and t breaks will stop on a dime. Seem like they are working to well. Is there some thing else taht I am missing or did not I install the speed sensor in the differential correctly?
