1999 Dodge Dakota 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

i just bought this truck 1 month ago, it was running fine then the snow storm hit. Now when it starts it putters out if I dont give it gas. When I try to change gears it also stalls. Some have told me this is water in the gas, I put some fuel cleaner in it and filled the tank. Same problem. It will start then stall.

HAs the check engine light come on? It sounds like you need a general tune up. If the wires are old, it will cause it to miss bad enough to not run.

Turns out I needed to put in some Heet to clean out the water in the gas. Still stalls out if I go ever 4.5 rpms but other than that fine. Thank you
