1999 Dodge Dakota Stalls

My dodge dakota recently just started stalling everytime I come to a stop at a light starts right back up and idles but then stalls out again at the next light, also my speedometer started only reading after 30 mph

Hi:

It sounds like you may have a vacuum leak. With the car running, listen around the engine compartment and under the vehicle (if it's a 4X4)for an air sound. If you find the leak, replace the hose / part and it should take care of the problem.

As far as the speedo, under the dashboard you will see where the speedo cable connects to the speedo. Carefully remove the cable and spray some WD40 in to the cable covering allowing it to penetrate. Replace the cable. That should help. The cables dry out inside and sometimes require oil.
