The engine was replaced and the truck was working fine for a couple of weeks, then it wouldn't start one day. It fires and acts like it's going to run, but won't. Repaced the fuel pump. Twice just to be sure. Still does the same thing. Fires and starts for a second, but won't keep running. Someone suggested a secondary relay for the fuel pump? One for ignition and then switches for running engine? I did try replacing the fuel relay, but wondering if there might be a broken wire/loose connection/ or? If so where would I look? Any help GREATLY appreciated!

You really need to isolate whether it is fuel or spark problem. A scan tool is for engine diagnostics and a fuel pressure guage will isolate it. A bad map sensor will do that. Start up and stall out. Code 13(Chrysler). Ok buddy

I will check the fuel pressure, but I'd think with the new fuel pump and it being a "sudden issue" that it's probably not a fuel pumping problem? The spark seems good. I don't know if it helps the diagnosis, but you have to wait a couple of minutes to get it to fire again after I try to start it. If I try starting right away again it won't fire, but wait a couple of minutes and it fires again, but won't run for more than a second! I'll get the fuel pressure checked for sure and post the results. Thanks for the help!

Your welcome. I know what you mean. It runs in the start position but when the key goes back to run it dies.
If you need any more help just ask. Joe
